Imerovigli is situated on the western side of Santorini Island, 300 m above sea level and opposite the 3 small isles of Thirassia, Palea and Nea Kameni. The area is renowned for its unparalleled view of the Caldera, its volcano and breathtaking sunsets. Imerovigli is a picturesque settlement with traditional Cycladic whitewashed houses carved into the cliff and cobblestone alleyways. Several interesting historical and religious sites in the area and some beautiful beaches are close by.

Many months before we arrived we asked to have two room together with our traveling friends. The hotel separated us and gave us both different rooms. We got the standard room and our friends got an upgrade which was a larger room, with a walk in closest and a sitting room. I will not come back to this hotel again.
